Event overview
The Girls On The Run Greater Boston Fall Season Celebratory 5K takes place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Boston Common, 0 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02108. The event gathers over 130 teams from greater Boston. Everyone who participates receives a commemorative medal. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine.
A Girls on the Run participant must be paired with one 5K Buddy on the course. 5K Buddies must be at least 16 years old. Additional supporters may join as Community Runners. Girls on the Run participants and coaches are already registered and do not need to register again.
Registration, categories and packet pick up
The event includes these registration categories and fees:
- 5K Buddy Registration : $35; open to ages 16 to 100; one 5K Buddy per GOTR participant.
- Community Runner : $50; $35 for ages 0 to 13; limited number of bibs available for community runners.
Packet pick up is available before the 5K at several retail locations on the weekdays prior to the event:
- Dedham: Dick's Sporting Goods, 180 Providence Highway.
- Boston: Dick's House of Sports, 760 Boylston Street.
- Medford: Dick's Sporting Goods, 3850 Mystic Valley Parkway.
On event day, 5K Buddies and Community Runners may pick up items at the Registration Tent at the 5K. Coaches will distribute bibs to their Girls on the Run participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
