Girls on the Run Flint Hills Spring 5K in Manhattan
The Spring 2026 Season 5K is a closing, celebratory 5K for Girls on the Run Flint Hills. It takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, on Poyntz Avenue in Downtown Manhattan, KS. The event is presented as the season finale and aims to give program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment.
Before the 5K there is a Star Power Hour with booths for GOTR girls, coaches, and community runners to visit and prepare for the event. GOTR girls are required to check in with their coaches before the 5K; coaches distribute bibs to their participants.
Current season Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole girls and their coaches are already registered for the 5K and should not register separately. Public registration opens March 15, 2026, with tiered pricing: early bird March 15–31 (Ages 15+ $30, Ages 14 & under $15); general April 1–May 1 (Ages 15+ $35, Ages 14 & under $20); day of event May 2 online or onsite (Ages 15+ $40, Ages 14 & under $25). Some registration periods include a race swag guarantee and some do not.
