Girls on the Run Central Illinois Spring 5K Presented by Memorial Health
Girls on the Run Central Illinois holds a Spring 5K as the season closing celebration for its program. The event takes place on May 16, 2026, at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois (5250 Shepherd Rd., Springfield, IL 62703). The event includes family friendly activities alongside the 5K.
The 5K provides a culminating, tangible accomplishment for program participants of all abilities. Program participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and do not need to register again.
Registration is offered in three general windows with separate adult and youth pricing. Early bird registration through April 23, 2026, is priced at $30 for adults and $20 for youth ages 3 to 12. Standard registration from April 24 through May 15, 2026, is $35 for adults and $25 for youth. Day of registration on May 16, 2026, is $40 for adults and $30 for youth. T shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those who register by April 23, 2026.
