SRC Twilight Mile presented by ASICS
The SRC Twilight Mile is a one mile track event held at Chatham Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois. The race uses a full 1609 m course, is USATF sanctioned, and will use FAT timing.
The program includes multiple heats organized by category and, where entry numbers allow, by seed time. Categories listed by the organizer include Middle School (ages 10–13, separate girls and boys races), High School (separate girls and boys races), Collegiate (separate women’s and men’s races), Masters (ages 40 and up, separate women’s and men’s races), Coaches (combined race not separated by gender), Open, and Elite. The Elite category notes possible entry by qualifying times or approval.
Entry fees vary by heat; several heats carry a $20 fee and other heats are listed with no fee. Registration opens in mid April and closes on June 5. Heats and final race assignments will be determined based on registrations.
Prizes are planned for top finishers. The organizer notes prizes for top three in each wave and cash prizes for overall competitors, with final prize amounts to be announced. Proceeds are directed to local high school track and field programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
