Event overview
The Ashford & District RRC is organising a new February road race at Tower School, Faversham Road, Kennington, Ashford TN24 9AL on 15 February 2026. Two distances are offered:
- 10 Mile
- 5 Mile
The race route uses tarmac and undulating country lanes around the village of Westwell and includes rolling hills and open countryside. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available.
Logistics, entries and extras
Event headquarters and parking are at Tower School. The start and finish are on Sandyhurst Lane, approximately a five minute walk from race HQ and parking. Advance entry prices vary by distance; posted ranges are between £21 and £27 depending on the event. An on-the-day entry fee is listed as £30 for each distance (subject to availability). The 10 Mile entry is open to those aged 17 and over on 15/02/2026; the 5 Mile is open to those aged 15 and over on that date.
Included for participants are a bespoke medal, trophies and prizes for leading runners, free parking and full changing facilities. The event supports the charity Holding On Letting Go, which provides bereavement support for children, young people and their families.
