Event

Girlfriends Run is a women-focused running and walking event in Vancouver, Washington offering multiple race options:

• Half Marathon
• 10K
• 6K
  The event also offers virtual options for the same distances and special charity categories associated with the Pink Lemonade Project. Individual entry fees for in-person events are listed at $55 to $75; virtual entries are shown at $50. Some charity entry categories include a minimum fundraising requirement of $500.

Location and logistics

The event takes place at Vancouver Waterfront Park, 695 Waterfront Way, Vancouver, WA 98660. There is paid parking at the waterfront lots; free downtown parking is available on weekends a few blocks away. Packet pickup is scheduled at Foot Traffic Vancouver on the Friday and Saturday before the race and at the waterfront on race morning. A bag-check is available at the registration booth. Porta-potties are provided at the start/finish and at locations along the course; additional restrooms are available inside Warehouse 23.

Awards and beneficiary

Awards are given to the top overall three and masters champions for each distance, plus top three women in multiple age groups. Walkers are not eligible for separate walking-only awards. The main beneficiary is the Pink Lemonade Project; the organization relies on direct donations (not registration fees) to fund services for people fighting breast cancer.
