About the race
Giraffe Gallop is a giraffe-themed, female only running event held on 06/12/2027 at 101 E. Interstate 635, Irving, TX 75038, US. The event offers multiple distances and a short kids dash.
The race program includes:
- 3.1 miles (Giraffe Gallop 5k)
- 6.2 miles (Giraffe Gallop 10k)
- 0.25 miles (Little Gallop kids dash)
Registration details are provided for each distance with specific fees. Registration includes a race bib and a finisher medal; a race-theme shirt is available as an add-on. The first 200 registrants receive a custom race-themed bib. Registration is limited and past events have sold out.
On-site amenities listed by the organizer include local vendors, a glitter station, a bib bedazzle station, a temporary tattoo station, music, and photo opportunities. Awards are presented on site only and are grouped by age and overall placement. Age group awards cover 0–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. Overall awards include Overall Female, Overall Masters (40 plus), and Overall Grand Masters (60 plus); participants should check results before leaving to confirm any awards.
