Gingerbread Lane 5K & 10K - Little Rock
Gingerbread Lane is a holiday running event in Little Rock with on site and virtual options. The course uses local parks and greenbelts and may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. The specific venue address is to be determined.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash: 50 meters for children 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: untimed one mile event, includes tee shirt and medal.
- 5K: 3.11 miles, chip timed with age group awards and overall trophies.
- 10K: 6.22 miles, chip timed with overall Bigfoot trophies and age group awards.
- Virtual Run: 6.22 miles virtual option.
The Kids Dash is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and a Kids Dash recognition pin. Event finishers receive a holiday themed shirt and a festive medal. DJ Sasquatch will provide music at the event, and refreshments at the finish include holiday cookies and milk.
A costume contest offers prizes including two free entries to a future Bigfoot event, a trophy, and a holiday treats bucket. Volunteer roles are available with options such as water station, course monitor, finish line helper, sweeper, packet pickup, lead bike, and Bigfoot mascot. Volunteer then Run is a limited option for the 5K that includes a custom chip timed bib, tee shirt, and finisher medal. Packet pickup is available starting 1.5 hours before the race start.
