GiGi's Playhouse San Diego 5K
The GiGi's 5K is an annual community event held at Crown Point North Mission Bay in San Diego. The 2026 edition presents three inclusive participation options so people of different ages and abilities can take part in a way that suits them.
Participants may choose among:
- Donut Run 5K
- 1 Mile Inspiration Walk
- Dash for Down Syndrome
Registration categories and early bird pricing are specified: Adult early bird $50, standard $65; Child early bird $35, standard $40; Individual with Down syndrome $21. Early bird pricing ends March 31st. Registration for 2026 includes an official event t-shirt guaranteed for registrations completed by March 31st, a celebratory donut at the finish line, and a 2026 Donut Run finisher medal.
Every registered participant also becomes a fundraiser for free local programs and resources for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Fundraising milestones offer recognition: raising $500 by March 31st earns a personalized sign displayed along the racecourse, and raising $2,100 or more by March 31st places a team name on the 2026 Donut Run t-shirts. The event is described as open to running, walking, rolling, pushing a stroller, or spectating, and is set along the Mission Bay waterfront.
