About the race
The Giddy Horse Backyard 2025 is a running event held at Chepstow Racecourse, UK, featuring races around Piercefield Park. The course is a 4.167-mile loop combining woodland, parkland, and tarmac trails, mostly flat with gentle elevation changes. The event offers solo races of 8-hour (33 miles) and 12-hour (50 miles) durations, as well as a 12-hour relay with team sizes ranging from pairs to large groups of up to 12 runners.
