Ghost of the Coast 5K : Myrtle Beach, SC
The Ghost of the Coast 5K takes place on October 24, 2026, at the South Strand Recreation Center, 9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The event uses a new course that begins at the recreation center and continues around the area on pavement.
Two 5K events are listed for the day, including a general 5K and an Employee Ghost of the Coast 5K. Registration fees are $35.00 for each listed event. Registration windows are provided by the organizer for each event.
Awards are presented in overall and age division categories. Overall awards are given to male and female 1st through 3rd places. Age division awards, determined by net chip time, use these groups: 0 to 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Award recipients must be present to receive awards; awards will not be mailed.
Parking is available at the South Strand Recreation Center. Packet pick-up and late registration occur the day before at two locations and the morning of the event at the South Strand Recreation Center, with specific times provided by the organizer.
