Ghastly Gorge Grind
The event returns to Wentworth Valley with a reworked loop that includes two trails not previously used in races. A single loop is approximately 12.5 km with about 700 meters of vertical gain. The race starts and finishes at the Barn; each runner receives one free beverage, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, and food is available for purchase.

The course is predominantly singletrack with sustained uphill sections and fast downhill runs. Runners cross rivers, pass a waterfall, and reach the highest point in Mainland Nova Scotia. The route ascends Crazy Creek / Ghastly Gorge toward Shunpike, continues on Pussy Willow, crosses Horse Pasture River by a bridge, then follows Northern Hart to Hart Peak. Return follows Hart Peak Pond trail, descends the F-Bomb, climbs Ho Chi Minh back to Shunpike, then down School House to Illuminati, along Barclay Road, and back to the Barn. The loop avoids backtracking except for the final 200 meters from the bottom of the ski hill to the Barn.
