Salomon Wascally Wabbit 2026
Salomon Wascally Wabbit takes place at the Fundy Trail Snowmobile Club, 84 Lafarge Lane, Folly Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada. The event offers two trail loops with substantial elevation gain.
Distances offered:
- 31 km with 1040 m+
- 62 km with 2080 m+
The course deviates around the 6.5 km mark onto an ATV trail downhill, then follows a new climb that becomes singletrack and returns to the original route near the 10 km mark. The remainder of the 31 km loop follows the original course.
There is an aid station approximately 18 km into the loop at Gerry's cabin and another at the start/finish. Aid station supplies include water, Coke, Tailwind and standard aid station fare. No cups are provided at aid stations; participants must bring their own drinking vessel.
Camping is permitted in the parking area on the club property. Mandatory gear includes a charged cell phone, a running jacket, a first aid kit, a buff or toque, at least 1 L of water and food for the loop. Random gear checks will be performed and missing required items may result in disqualification.
Registration policy notes no refunds, but spots can be sold. Deferrals are only possible in exchange for volunteer service. Volunteers receive free future race entry and entry into draw prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
