Weekend in Wentworth 2027
A Weekend in Wentworth is a multi-option trail running event held June 12–13, 2027 at Wentworth Provincial Park in Wentworth, NS. The course is a loop of approximately 4.5 km composed of single track, gravel and a short paved section. The loop is described as low technical and low elevation, and there is no time limit per lap so participants may complete as many laps as they wish.
The event offers multiple timed options:
- Up to 24 hours of continuous laps.
- Up to 32 hours, 100 miles earns a buckle, 200 km adds an engraved Yeti.
- 6 hour event on Sunday.
There is a single aid station at the start/finish supplying water, an electrolyte drink, lap boards and basic nutrition. This is a cupless event, cups will not be provided for hot or cold beverages. Participants may set up personal aid stations along the course. Camping the night before is available free of charge and race directors will be onsite the Friday evening to show camping areas and take pre-registrations.
Organizers state there are no refunds or deferrals; transfers are allowed until June 9. Participants will each receive a customized finishing sticker and $10 from each registration will be donated to the Wentworth Food Bank.
