Weekend in Wentworth 2027
A Weekend in Wentworth takes place June 12 to 13, 2027 at Wentworth Provincial Park in Wentworth, Nova Scotia. The event is a multi-option trail running weekend with on-site camping available the night before at no charge.
Race formats offered
- Up to 24 hours
- Up to 32 hours; completing 100 miles earns a buckle
- Six hours on Sunday
The course is a roughly 4.5 km loop combining single track, gravel and a short paved section. The route is described as low technical with low elevation. There is no time limit per lap and participants may complete as many laps as they wish.
This is a cupless event. The aid station at the start/finish provides water, an electrolyte drink, lap-marking boards and basic nutrition items. A barbecue is included in the race fee and other hot items such as soup and grilled cheese will be available overnight.
Each participant receives a customized finishing sticker. Ten dollars from each registration is donated to the Wentworth Food Bank. Transfers are allowed until June 9. No refunds or deferrals will be offered; the organizer recommends purchasing the refund guarantee before signing up. Race directors will be onsite Friday evening to indicate camping spots and to offer pre-registration. Runners are encouraged to wear headlamps and reflective gear if running after dusk.
