Gervasi Haunted Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip-timed 5k held at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio on October 10, 2026. The course is mostly paved, follows the middle branch trail, includes a loop around Veteran's Park, and finishes at the Crush House on the Gervasi property.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Results are posted online and each adult registrant receives a pour of wine at the finish. Minors may register at a discounted rate and receive a shirt, medal, and bib but will not receive the wine glass or a glass of wine.
The event offers age group awards for the top three finishers in each 10 year category: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & Over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards; awards are available for pickup on the day of the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday night before the race at the Gervasi property and race day pickup is available. Walking is allowed. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA regulations for the produce and vegetable farm.
The event partners with Save A Mom Rescue, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters, and orphaned pups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
