Gervasi Haunted Wine Run 5k
This event is a 5k chip timed run/walk at Gervasi Vineyard in Canton, Ohio on October 10, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Gervasi Winery and follows a mostly paved route along the Middle Branch Trail, includes a loop around Veteran's Park, and finishes at the Crush House.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Packet pick up is available the night before on the Gervasi property at the Still House and there is race day pickup as well.
Age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in each 10 year category. Categories are 19 & Under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 & Over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Award pickup is only available on the day of the event and awards will not be shipped.
Additional event details note that minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but does not include a wine glass or wine. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA rules for the produce and vegetable farm.
The event lists Save A Mom Rescue as the local charity partner. Save A Mom Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no kill organization that focuses on pregnant dogs, newly whelped litters, and orphaned pups and provides longer term care when needed.
