Germantown Library 5k
The Germantown Library 5k is the library's eighth annual community road race and a USATF certified course. The event functions as an annual fundraiser to support the library's services and programs for the local community.
The course starts at the Germantown Library, proceeds to Main Street, continues down Maple Avenue, and returns to the library. The event program includes a separate kids race in addition to the main 5k.
Online registrations close on Friday, October 2, 2026, and walk-in registration on race day is available. Registrations received by September 16 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Sponsorship opportunities are organized in tiers with recognized benefits. Tiers listed by amount include Bronze ($100), Silver ($250), Gold ($500), Platinum ($1,000), and Diamond ($2,500). Sponsor benefits described include logo placement on shirts or race materials and recognition in the library newsletter and event promotions.
