George Nasuti Novans Pride 5K
The George Nasuti Novans Pride 5k is a community fundraising road race held at Leo A. Savoie School in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Net proceeds will be donated to the Woonsocket Athletic Department to support Woonsocket High School athletes. Additional donations may be added during registration.
The 5K course is a USTAF certified, well marked 5k loop on city roads with mile markers and one water stop. The start and finish are located at the corner of Elder Ballou Meeting House Road and Conrad Street. Race timing is provided by professional timing services.
Event offerings and registration details include:
- 5K road race on a USTAF certified loop with mile markers and one water stop.
- 100 yards kids fun color run for ages 5 to 9, all receive a medal.
Registration opens April 6. The 5K registration closes May 24; the kids fun color run registration closes May 25. Published entry fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $5.00 for the kids fun color run.
Bib pickup takes place at Leo Savoie Elementary School, 990 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895 on Saturday May 23 between 7am and 11am, and on race morning starting at 7:00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
