Geneva MTR Triathlon
The Geneva MTR Triathlon takes place on June 19, 2026 at the Geneva Waterfront, 35 Lake Front Dr., Geneva, NY 14456. The program includes a kids triathlon with two distance categories and a Mixed Team Relay triathlon.
Distances listed for each event include:
- Kids Tri - Short: Swim 100 yards, Bike 1 mile, Run 0.5 mile
- Kids Tri - Long: Swim 200 yards, Bike 2.6 mile, Run 1.0 mile
- Mixed Team Relay: Swim 0.25 mile (400 m), Bike 3.6 mile, Run 1.25 mile
The kids events are organized by age: the short category is for ages 6 to 9, and the long category is for ages 10 to 13. The Mixed Team Relay is contested by four-athlete teams composed of two men and two women. In the relay, teammates complete the swim, bike, and run in sequence, tagging the next teammate when they finish their leg. Total team time determines performance awards. Age groups for the relay are calculated using the team average age and are grouped by decade.
