Geneva Half Marathon, 5K & Half Marathon Relay
The event takes place Saturday and Sunday, August 8–9, 2026, in Geneva, New York. Races start and finish at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center on the north shore of Seneca Lake, 35 Lakefront Drive.
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles
- 2 Person Half Marathon Relay
- 5K
The road course runs through the City and Town of Geneva, passing downtown restaurants and shops, historic South Main row houses, the grounds of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, nearby farms, Slate Rock, and sections of Finger Lakes wine country. Runners move along varying terrain with a gentle climb after mile one and return to the lakeshore for the finish.
Packet pickup is held in the glass-encased community room of the Finger Lakes Welcome Center, which has windows overlooking Seneca Lake. The course was revised in 2025 to run in reverse; changes include fewer road crossings and adjusted placement of Barracks Road and access to welcome center lots. The course closes at 3.5 hours and athletes must maintain approximately a 16 minute per mile pace.
Event items include a race logoed technical short sleeve top with guaranteed sizing by July 26, 2026, limited edition merchandise, medals for half and relay finishers, and a key chain for 5K finishers. Runners who complete both events receive connecting items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
