Geneva Half Marathon
The Geneva Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile road race held on the shores of Seneca Lake in the City of Geneva, in New York's Finger Lakes region. The course runs by the Geneva I Love NY Finger Lakes Welcome Center and through Downtown Geneva past restaurants and shopping. Runners pass historic South Main row houses, the grounds of Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and the Davis Gallery Houghton House.
The route continues through a residential area connecting the City and the Town of Geneva, then moves into agricultural areas including farms and Slate Rock, and through the White Springs area before entering a section described as wine country. The course includes a gentle climb near mile 1 and later a more pronounced climb followed by a descent back toward the city and the finish on Seneca Lake. The event also lists additional formats alongside the half marathon.
