Generations 5K - Springfield, OH
Generations 5K is a community running event organized by Legacy Ministries. The event takes place on July 11, 2026, at George Rogers Clark Park in Springfield, Ohio. It is presented to raise funds in support of Legacy Ministries' mission of spiritual mentorship, emotional support, and community outreach.
Distances offered:
- 5K timed event for general participants
- 2.5K Kids Run for ages 14 and under
Registration fees vary by date: a standard rate applies through July 10 with shirts included if registered by July 1, a reduced fee applies for the kids run, and a higher fee applies on race day with shirts not guaranteed. Registered participants receive an event T-shirt (when eligible), a timed result, an official bib, a lite snack at the finish, and bottled water.
Awards are given for 1st through 3rd overall male and female, plus top male and female in age groups: 17 and under, 18–30, 31–45, 46–60, and 61 and over. Post-race snacks, fruit, and water will be available.
The event has a no-refund policy. Organizers reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual race for reasons such as severe weather, public safety concerns, or other circumstances.
