Generations 5K in Springfield, OH
The Generations 5K is a community running event organized by Legacy Ministries, a faith-based nonprofit focused on healing, restoration, and transformation through the love of Jesus. The event takes place in Springfield, Ohio on July 11, 2026, at George Rogers Clark Park and is presented as a family-friendly activity that supports the mission of Legacy Ministries.

Registration fees are stated for different dates: $40 through July 10 (shirts included if registered by July 1), $25 for the 2.5K kids run, and $45 on race day with shirts not guaranteed. Registered participants receive an event T-shirt if registered by July 1, a timed event result, an official runner’s bib, a lite snack at the finish line, and bottled water. Post-race snacks, fruit, and water are also available.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each listed age group: 12 and under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; and 60 and over. The event includes music, race-day giveaways, and prizes for top finishers. The organizer’s cancellation policy states there are no refunds; the race may be rescheduled, canceled, or converted to a virtual format for reasons such as severe weather or public safety.
