ORRRC Wingman 10k : Saturday, 25 July 2026

The ORRRC Wingman is a 10k road race presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club. The event takes place at EJ Nutter Park, 865 Factory Road, Beavercreek (Dayton), OH 45434. The course is flat and paved and follows the Creekside Trail.

Event format and logistics

The race uses a team-based structure: runners are randomly assigned to one of six color teams and walkers to one of two non-competitive color teams; participants receive a wristband in their team color. Runners start in a staggered format based on age and sex. Finish times are chip-timed and results reflect each participant’s true race time. There are no shirts or finisher medals; refreshments are provided and small age-group awards may be given.

Registration is available online through RunSignup. Minors must be registered by a parent or guardian and require a signed liability waiver; pre-registered participants pick up their timing chip at the designated table on race day. Fee structure: current ORRRC members and military/veterans (with ID) run free; non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and up; ages 14 and under are free. Volunteer roles are listed by the organizer. Awards are given to the first 25 runners overall and to the first finishing color teams for runners and walkers. The race was established to honor military personnel who died in a 2008 B-52 crash and to encourage teamwork within the local running community.
