Event overview
The Rock the Monument Four Miler is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Urbana, Ohio. The event is organized by the Monument Square District and all proceeds benefit the district’s mission to champion the downtown area. The race distance is 4 miles. The course is stroller and dog friendly (dogs must be on a leash). A goody bag with water and nutrition snacks will be given to participants at check-in.
Entry, packet pickup and awards
Pre-registration pricing and benefits are stated: $30 if registered by July 1, which includes entry and a t-shirt; $35 after July 1 without a shirt; $40 on race day without a shirt. Registration opens March 1, 2026. Packet pick-up and day-of registration begin at the Upper Shelter House above the adult softball diamonds and will occur rain or shine. Awards include overall male and female winners and the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 8-18, 19-35, 36-50, 51-65, and 66+. All finishers age 7 and under will also receive an award. Groups of six can receive a discounted rate of $25 per participant with a discount code.
