Geek Run: GoodRunnings
The Geek Run takes place on Monday 4 May 2026 in the City of Norwood, Payneham, and St Peters. The event marks May the Fourth and highlights sci fi and geek culture. It is scheduled as an evening community run and walkers are accepted. The event has a cut off at midnight.
Online registration is closed and same day registration is available. Participants who register on the day must complete event forms and pay the registration fee in person. Bib collection is available only on the day. Social distancing is expected during the race briefing, at the start line, and on course.
The course is based on a 5 km loop along the river through a quiet area of shady forestry. Shorter distances use a shortened loop and longer distances complete multiple loops. An aid station provides a bag drop.
An optional finisher medal is available for $13. Personalised inscriptions can be added for an extra fee: $5 for a name, $8 for a name and short message, or $12 for name and finish time. GoodRunnings supports Women’s Safety Services SA NADVS. Five dollars from each registration will go to NADVS. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
