Geek Run: GoodRunnings, 4 May 2027
The Geek Run is a midweek evening running and walking event on Tuesday 4 May 2027 that celebrates science fiction and geek culture. The event takes place in the City of Norwood, Payneham, and St Peters and follows a looped course beside the river through shady trees.
The primary course is a 5 km loop along the river. Distances shorter than 5 km use a shortened loop and distances longer than 5 km complete multiple loops. Walkers are accepted. A bag drop is available at the aid station.

Bib collection is available on the day. A race briefing will be held before each wave and participants are asked to socially distance during the briefing, at the start area, and on course. An English as a Second Language simplified briefing is provided for participants who prefer simpler language and slower speech.
An optional medal is available for $13. Personalised medal inscriptions are available for an additional fee: $5 for a name, $8 for a name and short message (under 25 characters), and $12 for a name and finish time which includes postage.
