About the race
The Gather 5K is a community fundraising event on September 19, 2026 in Spring Grove, Illinois, hosted by Place to Gather Community Center. Proceeds will benefit the Swiss Family Robinson Adventure Playground project at 1154 Rte 173, Spring Grove, IL. The playground is planned as an intergenerational, all-inclusive playscape designed to welcome people of various ages and abilities.

- 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 1.5 mile Fun Run/Walk
- 100 yard Kids Dash
Entry fees and inclusions are stated: the 5K is $35 per person and the 1.5 mile is $25 per person; both include a performance t-shirt and a swag bag. The Kids 100 Yard Dash is free. Early bird registrations may use code "swiss10" to reduce the fee by $10 per person.
