Course Details

The route starts at Garrylucas and takes in back roads and main roads between Ballinspittle, Garrettstown, and Garrylucas beach near the Old Head of Kinsale. It includes a final mile with views of the Atlantic Ocean, passing Garrettstown beach.

Key Information

Participants must be 15 years or older. The entry fee is €20 plus a booking fee. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event is chip-timed and has a capped capacity. The event is run under an Athletics Ireland permit, and the course was measured by a World Athletics Grade A measurer.

Buggies and strollers are not permitted. This is a running and jogging-only event; walking is not allowed. Prizes are awarded for various categories, and course record prizes are listed for men and women.

Additional Details

Post-race prize giving and refreshments will be at Ballinspittle Community Hall. Non-Athletics Ireland registered runners must purchase a One Day Licence during registration.
