Galveston Marathon Weekend
The Galveston Marathon takes place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Galveston, Texas. The event center is listed at 515 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77550. The Marathon course is certified as Boston-qualifying. The Marathon and Half Marathon routes run through Beach Town and East Beach and follow the Galveston Seawall. The course is described as flat. Wheelchair, handcycle, and other adaptive events are included and the courses are designed to be accessible.

Registration includes a commemorative technical shirt (long sleeve for Full and Half; short sleeve for 5K), a finisher medal for all events, and food and drinks at the post-race party. The Marathon cutoff is 6 hours; runners not through the 13.1 mile split by the 3-hour mark will be removed from the course. Prices and registration deadlines vary by event; some prices increase after January 25, 2026, and virtual event registration ends January 30, 2026.
