Galveston Island Brewing 5K Beer Run
The Galveston Island Brewing 5K Beer Run takes place on April 25, 2026, at Galveston Island Brewing Co., 8423 Stewart Rd, Galveston, TX 77554. The event benefits the Galveston Island Humane Society.
This chip timed 5K starts and finishes at the brewery and follows a flat out and back course along the Galveston Seawall. The course is described as walker friendly and has one water stop at the halfway point. Parking at the brewery is free and participants are asked to follow volunteer or police directions for parking.
Race entry includes a custom finisher glass, up to four 8 oz tastings of Galveston Island craft beer, an official race performance fabric T shirt, and a well marked and supported course. Additional listed amenities include chip timing, free race photos available online after the race, food trucks on site, the chance to win competitive awards or prizes in random drawings, and welcome for strollers.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall and master (40 and up) finishers, with custom awards for the top three male and female in these age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.
