Gallatin Shamrock Run 5k & 10k
The 13th Annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in Historic Downtown Gallatin with the start at Gallatin City Hall. The course uses downtown streets and is described as primarily flat.
Available distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles) runs the 5K course twice; 90 minute time limit
The 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and must be completed within 60 minutes. Time limits are enforced for each distance. Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race. Awards for Best St. Patrick’s Day Costume and Most Team Spirit are presented before the race. Participants are encouraged to wear St. Patrick’s Day attire.
Proceeds benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation, the 501(c)(3) arm of the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce, which supports enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the city.
Practical event information includes road closures along the race route between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM, parking available along Smith Street, and prohibited parking on Main Street, Franklin Street, North Water Avenue, or along the race route. Only clear backpacks are permitted during the race. Communication and updates will be sent to the email address used at registration. No refunds will be issued; registrations may be transferred to another participant through March 11, 2026.
