Galactic Trail Run at Vandenberg Space Force Base
The Galactic Trail Run is a trail event held at Vandenberg Space Force Base on September 26, 2026. The event offers two measured race distances and is open to base personnel and the general public. Active Duty members and Direct Dependents receive a discount at checkout.

Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Parade Grounds on September 26, 2026. Non-base participants must present a REAL ID to enter Vandenberg Space Force Base; additional details about base pass pick-up will be provided closer to the event.
Finisher items include a finisher's medal, a race T-shirt (TBD), and a drink ticket. To guarantee a T-shirt, registration must be completed by September 6, 2026; registrations after that date receive shirts while supplies last. There will be one aid station on the course located at mile 3.
Registration notes and deadlines are set in advance: public registration closes September 16, 2026, and base-affiliated registration closes September 23, 2026. There is no same-day registration. The event follows a strict no-refund policy, with the exception that full refunds will be issued to all registered participants only if the event is officially canceled.
