Gainsborough 10k & Half Marathon
The Gainsborough 10k and Half Marathon take place on 1 November 2026 and use Sturgate Airfield near Gainsborough as the event hub. The races are held on road-closed routes through the Lincolnshire countryside and follow single lap courses on flat roads.
Runners leave Sturgate Airfield onto quiet country lanes, passing open farmland and village stretches before returning to the village finish area. The course is clearly marked, with each kilometre indicated by distance flags and marshals positioned along the route to guide and support participants.

Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. An event village offers food and drink options and free items from partner stands are available at the finish. A discounted event t-shirt is offered as an optional purchase with the entry through event partner RT Kit; the shirt carries the event logo on the chest.
