Run for Wildlife NIGHT 5k 2027

This is a night edition of the national multi-award winning 5k walk, jog, run safari held at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Auckley, Doncaster. The route starts and finishes within the grounds of the park and follows main paths, providing a consistent running surface. The event is timed and licensed as a standard 5k, with results recorded by chip time.

The evening field is split into two waves to accommodate demand; final results use chip time with both waves combined. Organisers report hundreds of people on waiting lists. Ticket sales close on 24 December 2026 and tickets are currently sold out.

Participants will pass park illuminations and may see or hear nocturnal animals. The course is subtly lit to protect wildlife, and runners are asked not to use torches. Medals and t-shirts will follow a themed NIGHT animal to be confirmed, and snacks are provided at the finish.
