Gabriella’s 5K Cupcake Run : Selma, Texas
Gabriella’s 5K Cupcake Run is a community 5K event hosted by Gabriella’s Smile Foundation at Bluebonnet Palace, 17630 Lookout Rd, Selma, Texas. The event offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual runner option; packet mailing for virtual participants is handled the week after the run. T-shirts are available for an additional fee while supplies last.
The event is family friendly and allows children ages 0 to 14 to register as official participants. Every in-person participant receives a cupcake at the finish line. Medals are distributed at the finish line for in-person participants and are not mailed. Packet pick-up is scheduled on the days before the race and on race morning at designated locations, with one pickup location listed at the Children’s Cancer Support Center in San Antonio.
All proceeds benefit pediatric cancer families by providing financial assistance, support programs, and resources. The event is USATF sanctioned and chip timed with official gun time results. Awards include gift card prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and recognition for first place male and female in multiple age groups.
