Fuzzy Fandango Trail Races
The Fuzzy Fandango is an annual trail running event hosted at Camp Nuhop. The 17th edition will take place on November 7, 2026 at Nuhop Main Campus in Perrysville, Ohio. The courses mix singletrack, forest roads, a new trail section, fall canopy views, and sections of rugged terrain. The 50K is run as a double loop with about 1.5 miles of road per lap.
Race packets can be picked up at Camp Nuhop on race morning and pickup is organized by distance. Parking is assigned by distance: the longest distances use a field outside Nuhop’s main gate, shorter distances use Mohican Resort & Conference Center about 0.25 mile from the start, and overflow uses beach property about 0.5 mile away. Each race distance will be limited to 150 runners due to space and parking.
Distances offered:
- 1-Mile Fun Run : short family-friendly loop
- 5K : a brief trail tour
- 15K : extended trail distance with varied terrain
- 25K : longer trail course for extended mileage
- 50K Ultra : full ultramarathon on a double loop
Every runner receives a choice of long-sleeve tech shirt or winter hat (or both with an upgrade), chip timing by Mid Ohio Race Management, and a post-race meal and drinks including local beer from The Phoenix Brewing Company. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race distance, excluding the 1 mile fun run. Proceeds support Nuhop’s mission to provide outdoor adventures for kids and adults.
