Fury 5K
The Fury 5K is a community running event held on November 14, 2026 at Laura Farrell School, 513 Park Ave, Franklin, OH 45005. The event distance is 3.1 Miles and it is organized to honor Fury, a Franklin police K9 who was killed in the line of duty three years earlier. Net proceeds will support the City of Franklin Division of Police K9 Fund.
Registration opens on June 1, 2026 and closes on November 14, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30. Registrations received through October 25 include a commemorative T shirt; shirts are only guaranteed for registrants by that date. Registration remains open through the event day.
Awards are planned for top finishers. Medals will be presented to the top three overall men and women, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups listed for awards are 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
