FURever HOMES RACE : Jamestown High School
The 7th annual FURever Homes Race takes place on June 13, 2026 at Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, VA. It is part of the Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix and includes multiple running and walking events for community participants.
Event offerings include:
- 8K Run
- 8K Race Walk
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Leashed dogs are allowed on site and may participate with humans in the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. The event features community vendors, music, food, and raffles. All proceeds benefit homeless pets at The Heritage Humane Society.
Registration opens March 17, 2026 and closes May 18, 2026. Fees listed by event are $40.00 for the 8K Run, 8K Race Walk, and 5K, and $25.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Registration prior to May 18, 2026 guarantees a participation t-shirt. Registrants receive a participant medal and a race packet. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
