Fun(d) Run - Tewksbury
The Fun(d) Run is the first annual 5K community run held at Tewksbury Memorial High School, 320 Pleasant Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. The event is organized by TMHS Classes of '27, '28 and '29 to raise funds for Junior and Senior proms, Senior week, and other student activities while fostering community participation and school spirit.
The course covers 5K (about 3.2 miles) and begins and ends in the high school driveway. Volunteers will be stationed along the route and two water stations will be available. Bathrooms will be available at the high school on the field. Awards will be presented on the field and will include both individual awards and team-based awards such as a most team spirit recognition.
Registration is open to individuals and teams. Teams with ten or more members receive a 15% discount per person once the tenth member registers. The registration fee is $40. Donations are also accepted for those who do not participate in the run. Post-race activities on the field include food trucks, face painting, lawn games and music.
Parking is available in the high school lot for early arrivals; additional parking is available at the Ryan School for those arriving later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
