FUN FIT 5K / 10K & Hybrid 5K
This event at Pompano Air Park offers three non-scored options: Fun Fit 5K Run/Walk, Fun Fit 10K Run/Walk, and Fun Fit Hybrid 5K. Parking is at the south end of the Galuppi's parking lot and the course includes a visible finish line clock.
The 5K option is described as an out-and-back Run / Walk challenge. Participants who elect the Hybrid 5K complete ten repetitions of one listed exercise every half mile, choosing from jumping jacks, sit ups, lunges, air squats, pushups, or burpees.
Each participant receives a club T-shirt, a signature bib, and a finisher medal. All three events are explicitly non-scored.
Packet pickup and registration begin on Saturday, July 11 at Runners Depot locations in Davie and Fort Lauderdale. In-store pickup and registration close on Friday, July 17 at noon.
