About the race
The event takes place at Pompano Air Park in Pompano Beach, with parking available at the south end of the Galuppi's parking lot. All three events are non scored and each participant receives a club T-shirt, a signature bib, and a finisher medal. A finish line clock will be on site. There are three event options on the same day: Fun Fit 5K Run / Walk, Fun Fit 10K Run / Walk, and Fun Fit Hybrid 5K.
Registration opens in July 2026 and closes on July 16, 2027; fees listed for the events are $30 for the 5K, $30 for the 10K, and $25 for the Hybrid 5K. Packet pick up at Runners Depot (Davie and Fort Lauderdale) is available beginning July 10 and closes July 16 at noon; packet pick up and registration are also available on race day. The 5K includes an out-and-back 5K challenge option in which challenge participants complete 10 reps of a chosen exercise every half mile. The Hybrid 5K also requires participants to complete 10 reps of one of the listed exercises every half mile.
Exercise options include JUMPING JACKS, SIT UPS, LUNGES, AIR SQUATS, PUSHUPS, and BURPEES. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
