About the race
The Rotary Club of Fort Atkinson will host the 14th annual Frosty Rock Challenge on November 7, 2026, at Fort Atkinson High School, 925 Lexington Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI.
The event includes three distances:
- 12k mixed road and trail course through Dorothy Carnes County Park and back to the high school.
- 5k route exploring neighborhood streets, starting and ending at the high school.
- 1 mile untimed walk/run around the high school grounds.
Pre-registration for the 12k and 5k is $25 each. The 1 mile walk/run is free, with registration requested. Event T-shirts are available for $15 as an optional purchase. Night before race day, packets can be picked up at the FHC Business Services office.
The 12k course passes the historic Mason Farms log home, oak savannah, marshes, wetlands, and prairie areas. The 5k stays on residential streets around Fort Atkinson. Awards are presented overall and by age group; age groups include 12 and under for the 5k only, then 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus for both 5k and 12k, with separate male and female categories.
Proceeds support Fort Rotary community projects such as park improvements, school support, and local non-profits, as well as international projects addressing food, health, water, and sanitation in several countries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
