Downtown Janesville Zombie Run presented by Ryan Inc. is an evening community event on October 24, 2026, in Downtown Janesville at 69 S River St, Towne Square and BHCCU Festival Street. The program includes running and walking options and on-site festival features.

Event categories include adult and 18 and under entries for both the 5K and the 1 mile walk. Registration opens July 4, 2026; registration closing dates vary by category, with some entries closing September 15, 2026, and others closing October 25, 2026. Standard registration fees are $35 for the main adult events and $25 for 18 and under categories. A 5K route map is provided by the organizer.
Participants receive a finisher medal and an event shirt, with a shirt guaranteed for registrations completed by October 2, 2026. A costume contest will award prizes for best adult male and female, best child male and female, best group, and best dog costume. Well behaved dogs are encouraged to participate. Additional on-site features include photo opportunities with costumed characters, a beer tent offering beer, hard seltzers and non alcoholic beverages for purchase, live music by a DJ, and a 20 foot Super Moon display in Towne Square.
