The event uses chip timing for start and finish. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. The half marathon course has a cutoff of 3.5 hours (about 16 minutes per mile). All finishers receive a custom finisher medal; participants registered by posted deadlines are guaranteed race apparel, with a long sleeve cotton shirt standard and a sweatshirt upgrade available.
Awards are given for Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 Masters M/F (40+), Top 3 Grand Masters M/F (50+), Top 3 Senior Grand Masters M/F (60+), and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 75+. Packet pickup occurs on race morning starting one hour before the event; early pickup may be offered.
Virtual participants submit results by February 15, 2026; virtual packages ship the Monday after the event to continental US addresses. The event lists Life House Atlanta as its charity partner.
