Frosty Feet Half Marathon
The Frosty Feet Half Marathon is a point to point race in Fairbanks, Alaska, covering 13.1 Miles. The course begins at The Plant Kingdom on Fideler Road and follows Fideler Road as it becomes the dirt Echo Acres Drive. The route continues onto Cessna Way, Cavu Way and Air Park Drive before returning to Echo Acres Drive and passing The Plant Kingdom again.
Runners proceed onto Farmers Loop and follow the bike and pedestrian path to North Tanana Drive, then continue up onto the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus and follow Tanana Loop around the east perimeter. The course uses Tanana Loop E and a path past the UAF Community Gardens toward West Valley High School, then Sandvik Street and a monitored crossing at University Avenue. The route joins a bike path toward Johansen and follows the path to Peger Road.
The revised finish crosses under the Johansen Expressway bridge, continues along the bike path past Phillips Field Road, crosses the Chena River bridge, and enters Alaskaland via Alaskaland Lane. The finish area is near the pavilion across from the Pioneer Playground at Moose Creek Picnic Shelter.
