Event overview
The Frosty Aquathlon takes place at Littlehampton Wave, Sea Road, BN16 2NA, Littlehampton, on the West Sussex south coast. The 2026 event marks the 30th anniversary and is held on the first Sunday in March. The swim takes place in a 25-metre, eight-lane pool with lane counters. The run follows a flat loop around the local boating lake / Mewsbrook Park and continues along the seafront promenade.
Distances and age limits
- Frosty: 800 m pool swim and 10 km run (minimum age 17)
- Frostbite: 400 m pool swim and 5 km run (minimum age 16)
Entry, fees and rules
Entries are online only; there is no on-the-day entry. The closing date for entries is 22 February 2026. Entry fees are the same for both races: £35 for British Triathlon Federation (BTF) members and £43 for non-BTF members, the latter including the required £8 BTF Race Pass for insurance. ResultsBase registration fees are excluded. Once paid, entries cannot be transferred or refunded.
Competition format, teams and categories
Individual and team prizes are awarded. Team entries comprise four nominated members and must be mixed gender with at least one Female category and one Open category competitor; the four individual times are combined for the team result. The event complies with British Triathlon’s Transgender Policy and uses Female and Open competitive categories. All competitors receive a memento.
