Frostbite 10k

Frostbite Races - Fletcher, North Carolina (February 15, 2026)

The Frostbite Races present a set of winter road races that start and finish at the Lelia Patterson Center in Fletcher, NC. The event includes chip timing, commemorative finisher medals for all participants, and race shirts for early registrants. A backup date in case of inclement weather is February 22, 2026, and the event is presented by Hunter Subaru.

Distances offered

• 10 km , net elevation gain 464 feet, two water stations
• 5 km , net elevation gain 257 feet, one water station
• 1 mile , flat and un-timed fun run

Both the 10 km and 5 km courses run through hilly terrain with moderate inclines and provide scenic views near Hutch Mountain. The one mile fun run is flat and described as suitable for young runners. The 10 km offers cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers and awards are given for overall and age group winners. Packet pickup and an indoor Family Fun Day and Wellness Expo take place at the Lelia Patterson Center; the expo features local vendors, wellness services, live music, kids activities, snacks, and merchandise. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult on the 5 km and 10 km courses. A virtual race option is available and virtual participants receive mailed race swag when offered.
