Event
Frost Eagle Trail Run is held at Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish, WA. The event is part of the 2025-26 Winter Trail Series and takes place on January 17. Distances offered include:

- Half Marathon
Course and aid stations
Courses form a figure 8 and use the park’s network of trails, including a short section on the wider Pipeline Trail. Trails are mostly technical singletrack with rocks and roots, and feature rolling hills that are short or moderate in grade. The primary aid station sits at the intersection of the figure 8 so every runner passes it twice per lap. Half marathoners run the loop twice and therefore pass the primary aid station four times; 5-mile runners pass it twice. A second aid station for half marathoners is adjacent to the start/finish. Aid stations provide water, an electrolyte drink from Skratch Labs, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods.
Logistics and policies
The start and finish use the park’s main west entrance and a paved lot; no parking pass is required. Street parking is available on the south side of E Main Dr; parking on the north side is prohibited. The trails remain open to other users during the event. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Participants are responsible for their own safety and are encouraged to carry a cell phone as a precaution.
