Frogman 5K Trail Run
The Frogman 5K Trail Run is an annual event created in 2012 by a family to honor the final wish of a SOC (SEAL) who lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was shot down on August 6, 2011. Proceeds from the event benefit SE Outdoors and the Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission.
The event takes place in Jacksonville, North Carolina, on March 21, 2026, at a property known as the "400-acres." The 5K course is a wooded trail that is described as predominantly flat.
