Event overview
The FRIGHTFUL FAIRWAY 5K (Fall Into Winter) is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Cocoa Beach Country Club, 5000 Tom Warriner Blvd. The event includes an in-person 5K on a golf course with river views along the 3.1-mile route, a virtual 5K option, and a family team division for two participants. All in-person participants receive a race medal, a T-shirt (not gender specific), and post-race refreshments. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Non-participants may purchase T-shirts for $15.
Format and logistics
Entry options listed in the event information include the in-person Frightful Fairway 5K, a Frightful Fairway 5K Virtual Run, and a Frightful Fairway 5K Family Team of 2, with varying entry fees. Packet pickup and late registration are available Thursday, October 23 (9:00 am - 7:00 pm) at the Cocoa Beach Recreation Center on 321 Ramp Road, Friday, October 24 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) at Cocoa Beach Country Club, and on race day at the Country Club beginning at 6:15 am. The virtual option allows participants to run anywhere, report their time, and receive a mailed packet after completion. The race is part of the Trick & Trot Challenge series; the series and races benefit local youth camps and Cocoa Beach High School programs.
