Friedman JCC 5K Series
The Friedman JCC 5K Series is an inaugural three-race 5K challenge hosted by Friedman JCC in Kingston, Pennsylvania. The series takes place at The Sidney and Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center, 613 S.J. Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704, and is presented as in-person events with free parking and activities noted for all ages.
The three races are scheduled for July 11, 2026; September 19, 2026; and November 26, 2026, the latter presented as the Ben August Thanks for Giving 5K. Runners, walkers, families, and community members are included in the target participants for the series format, which offers options to complete select races or the full series.
Participants who complete all three races receive exclusive swag, are eligible for special awards, and will be recognized at a year-end celebration. Proceeds from the series are designated to support youth programming, camp scholarships, and Sara's Table Food Pantry to assist local children and families with resources and opportunities throughout the year.
