2026 Ben August Thanks for Giving Day 5K Run/Walk
Friedman Jewish Community Center and NEPA Racing present a Thanksgiving Day run and walk on November 26, 2026. The event starts and finishes at The Sidney and Pauline Friedman Jewish Community Center, 613 S J Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run Loop around the JCC building
Registration and event services are described as follows. Pre-registration is $30 if completed by November 15, 2026; pre-registered participants receive a limited edition long sleeve moisture wicking shirt. Registrations from November 16 through race day are $35; race tees and other apparel will be available for purchase. A $6 processing fee is added at checkout. Early packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race. Check-in tables will be open at the JCC on race morning. Day of race registration will be available until 8:30 a.m. via the original registration link and QR code quick registration.
The race series benefits Sara’s Table Food Pantry and CEO. A swag store with hoodies, tees, moisture wicking items, hats and other items will be available until December 4, 2026; ordered items are expected to be delivered about two to three weeks later. The event will be held rain or shine and refunds are not offered; payments from registrants unable to attend will be treated as donations.
