Scranton Turkey Trot
The event features a community 5K run and a 1 Mile fun walk held at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, PA. The race uses park entrances on Olive Street, starts in front of the Community Room (old pool concession stand), and finishes in the Schimelfenig Pavilion parking lot.

Registration opens 10/20/2026 and closes 11/24/2026. Entry fees listed for the announced events are $30.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 Mile fun walk. Kids 12 and under may participate free of charge. Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 250 pre-registered participants.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the event at Scranton Running Company, 3 West Olive St., Scranton, PA 18508. Race day packet pick up is available at Nay Aug Park.
Awards include trophies for the top overall male and female finishers and age group awards for both male and female participants in the following categories: 0–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+. Post-race refreshments listed include Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and apple cider.
Proceeds will be donated to the Nay Aug Park Association to support continued park revitalization. Recent event donations approached $20,000 for an inclusive play space called the Butterfly Playground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
