Friedberg JCC 5K Run/Walk
The Friedberg JCC 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Baldwin Park, 3232 Grand Ave., Baldwin, NY 11510. The course is certified, flat, and contained entirely within the park. The event benefits the Friedberg JCC Parkinson's programs, with proceeds to support exercise classes, lectures and support groups offered by the JCC.
Registration is not yet open. A notification option is available for those who wish to be informed when registration opens. Early registrants may receive a T shirt. Event amenities include swag bags, fruit and water for participants, and same day awards at the finish line.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers and to the top three male and top three female in each age group: 11 and under, 12 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Bib pickup is available in person with a self lookup area for participants who do not know their bib number. Personalized race numbers are available for registrations completed at least three weeks before the event. Virtual bibs are shipped during a window that ranges from one week before the event to one week after the event.
Live online, email and text results are provided along with free video and same day finish line photos. Miscellaneous photos are posted on Facebook. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
