Friday the 13K - St. George
Friday the 13K is an evening road race held at Crosby Family Confluence Park in St. George. The event features chip timing at the start and finish and awards for the top three men and top three women in five-year age groups. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal on crossing the finish line.
Distances offered include:
- 13K: double loop out and back
- 6.5K: single out and back
- Virtual 5K: run remotely and submit time
The 13K course is described as fairly flat. Organizers recommend use of a headlamp or light for running after dark. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must finish no slower than a 16 minute per mile pace.
Race swag is guaranteed for participants registered by 11/03; after that date swag is available while supplies last. A virtual option allows remote participants to run on their own route, submit results online, and be eligible for awards. The event schedule notes a registration deadline to receive a guaranteed shirt and indicates on-site registration and check in will be available on race day.
